The director of Zagorski vodovod Mario Mihovili\u0107, the mayor of Zlatar Jasenka Augu\u0161tan – Pentek, the mayor of Lobor Ljubica Jembrih and the deputy general director of Hrvatske vode Davor Vukmiri\u0107 held a press conference in Lobor on June 17, 2021 at 2:15 pm right next to the construction site works on the construction of the Zlatar Agglomeration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to the conference, a meeting was held to define the course of the Project activities. Project activities related to the construction of the Zlatar Agglomeration envisage the expansion of the existing drainage network with the construction of 20.02 km of main collectors, 36.62 km of secondary network, 2.21 km of pressure pipes, 21 overflows and other hydraulic structures, 26 pumping stations, 32 crossings and siphon and 1720 pcs preparation for home connections. The works within the Zlatar Agglomeration include individual cadastral municipalities in the area of \u200b\u200bthe town of Zlatar and the municipalities of Marija Bistrica, Zlatar Bistrica, Konj\u0161\u010dina and Lobor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputy General Manager of Hrvatske vode Davor Vukmiri\u0107 pointed out that the Project was assessed as a strategic investment project of the Republic of Croatia. He congratulated all project participants on the successful start of work within the Project. The Mayor of Zlatar Jasenka Augu\u0161tan – Pentek and the Mayor of Lobor Ljubica Jembrih expressed satisfaction with the start of work and the contribution of the life quality of Lobor residents and residents of all local government units within the Agglomeration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The director of Zagorski vodovod, Mario Mihovili\u0107, spoke about the course of works so far and the planned activities within the Project. He pointed that the construction of a new public drainage system and two wastewater treatment plants will contribute to improving the communal standard, significantly reducing the risk of groundwater pollution, improving health and environmental conditions in the area, preserving the water quality of the Krapina River and other watercourses catchment area.
The construction of two wastewater treatment plants will treat all collected wastewater from the public drainage system and collected wastewater from septic tanks from the entire final agglomeration of Zabok and the agglomeration of Zlatar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The press conference was attended by representatives of Zagorski vodovod, Hrvatske vode, contractors, representatives of Supervision, project manager, representatives of local governments, representatives of Project Equal Development d.o.o. and media representatives.
The conference was organized in accordance with current epidemiological measures and recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
